Effective May 2, 2018, the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) has a new online procedure for Concealed Weapon Permit (CWP) renewals and replacements.

We are a privately owned range, not a government entity, and have no involvement in the permitting process, other than teaching approved CWP classes. ***
You may complete your replacement application online by electronically uploading a scanned copy or digital image of the required document(s) or you may start the process online and mail in paper copies of the required document(s) to SLED.
For Online Renewals:
The acceptable file formats to complete the online renewal application are PDF, jpeg, and png. Each document must be uploaded as a separate file. If you use a smart phone or tablet, you will need to take a picture of each document individually, save it to your device and then upload the file when prompted. Please have the files ready before you begin the renewal process.
For Renewals Using Mail-in Document Option:
At the end of the renewal application you will need to print a copy of the renewal request form. You must submit the form along with all required documents to SLED within 30 days of submitting the application online or your renewal application will be automatically denied.
For Online Replacements:

If you are changing your classification, the following document(s) is required:
Sled put my incorrect city down when it’s on my license. Everything is correct except one letter of the city. Headache getting a new firearms now the background checks take longer.
I’d be taking that up with SLED and making them give me a new one with the correct spelling of the city.
